The prayeral Vani Welfare Association has opened a training course on the design of yellow sacks at the Madhuranagar center here.
The agency provides free training for different people
Students with various skills such as tailor, jewelry making, software courses, web design and English classes.
The yellow sacks are designed to replace plastic bags and provide livelihood for participants after two timesmonth-long workshop.
A range of jute products including sling bags, bags and shopping bags will also be trained.

Suchitra, the number of participants in various courses has steadily increased over the past three years.
She said the center has established contacts with the NGO Suraksha to provide scholarships to different peopleabled girls.
